ACID KIRK
Born 13/05/1972. Once considered as one of the most talented artists (both producer and DJ) from the Brussels underground techno scene. Since 2004 mainly into (making) noise and "avant-garde" productions.
As a teenager, Acid Kirk listened to industrial and electro. Around 1990, he discovered house during the Belgian 'new beat' hype, but it would take another 2 years before he started to make his own music after he met people like DJ Deg, Seal Phüric, D-Jack aka BWP (Brussels Weird Project / Bad Woofers Posse).
There is nothing, he says, he hates more than describing his own style, but if he has to, he calls it "psychotropic soundscapes" and calls himself influenced by artists like Philip K. Dick, David Lynch (Eraserhead is his favourite film), David Cronenberg, Jim Jarmusch, Timothy Leary, Richard D. James, William S. Gibson and Cevin Key.
Acid Kirk is an honest artist, with passion for his music and respect for his public. So, no play-backs, but real live performances. And no intention whatsoever to 'sell his soul'.
Asked what he would do when he got a offer of a major company, Acid Kirk answers: "Those guys do business: that doesn't interest me. I wouldn't sign. If you wanna do business, you've got to be motivated. And I am very lazy, I hate to do what I don't like. For instance, I hate to get up early in the morning, so I don't get up. With dance, it's the same thing."

Jean-Christophe (his real name) did not discovered electronic music, he's born in electronic music! With the hit from Kraftwerk: "Radio Activity" (1975).
In 1995, he started, slowly but surely, to learn how to mix and a short moment after, he played "live" for the 1st time. It was in a ghost station for his 1st concept: E-MOTION. Jaykriss was born …
In addition to his DJ-passion, he founded TECHMATICA in 2003. This concept was made to show you "the festive spirit" & "the tribal influences" of techno. In 2005, he decided to show another face of his personnality … TECHMATICORE was born. Jaykriss says: "Everybody has a dark side! Techmaticore is MY darkest side!". Today, Techmaticore is one of the most important hard events in Belgium!
In 2005 again, he met DJ Daisy aka Mandragore. Something special happened with her. He doesn't know what. But now she's also a member of his collective. For him, she's more than a simple DJ … She brings inspiration in his tracks & DJ sets. Total respect to her!
He plays frequently in many Belgian cities (Bruxelles, Brugges, Oostende, Liège, Arlon, Namur, Mons, …) but he played also in several European countries (Luxembourg, France, Spain, Germany, …).
In 2005, he started to make his own music. A strange mix between hardtechno & hardcore but, Jaykriss doesn't like the results! Now, he works with DJ TRYPOD from the French label GOLGHOTT RECORDS. Their first track "D.T.C.!" is born, ...
Today, he's member of the famous hardcore French label EPILEPTIK. He joins the Bulgarian booking agency: DARKNESS FALLS! And he has some tracks on famous labels like: GOLGHOTT, EPILEPTIK, TECHMATICORE or FATALLIC RESIGNATION!
ABOUT LADY SYD
Born in the end of the of the seventies, Lady Syd discovered the "electronic music" with her boy friend JAYKRISS! It was, in 2000!!! But she didn't spin vinyles before 2004! After a small time in techno, she decided to play her hardest face: hardtechno with industrial influences, sometimes hardcore. Now, she organises parties for the Belgian Hardcore Concept: TECHMATICORE! In the same time, she's also member of the greatest "female DJ crew": SHEJAY! In 2008, Lady Syd joins TBook Productions. The society who promotes Golghott Rec., Techmaticore Rec., Hotcore, Techno Chic, Luxure, ... Lady Syd is a young DJ but, she hopes her story will never end ... KEEP DA VIBE!

Nocid has always been attracted by music. He has begun mixing when he was 12, with a poor cd player and a discman, the both without pitch control...It was more "discovering" than mixing... In 2000 he got his own turntables and can begin more seriously the deejaying. Techno was his first style, especially old school Detroit stuffs from Jeff Mills, U.R, Mad Mike, ... as well as old european things like Djax-up-beats, Neil Landstrumm, & others... But his main love is certainly the tb-303 acid sound, with artists such as Woody Mc Bride, dj Hyperactive, Mike Dred, ... He likes old acid techno stuffs as well as acid-core sounds from Choose, Zekt, Drop bass Network, ... He began mixing in Always Underground parties organised by himself, Ralph Storm and Pablo Dresse. These parties where well known in Belgium, and they invited famous artists like Suburban knight, Adam X, Like a Tim, Ectomorph, Acid Kirk, Seal phuric, Deg, D-jack and many more... Now, he organise the Escape to Acid parties and he's spinning records everywhere in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Holland ... At places like : Soundstation, Ric's Boat, Structure Beton, Caves de Cornillons, Rector, Der Machine, The Zoo, Factory, Inside out, Musée de Transports, The Fort of Cognelée and many more... With a lot of respected artists. He's also resident at Techmaticore parties and plays for the Full Dawa soundsystem and a lot of other organisations like Puzzling, Darkjadore, Komando Kru, Teknoize, Bankizz, Fuckin' beat, Vicious connexion, Nitrogen, Acid or not, Hangover, Coretek concept, Crewstacé ... Latest news : His firts trax will be realeased soon and actually he's concentrate on his productions.

Marc Carbone is the official name behind DJ Carbo. Carbo started his dj-career with the first parties in '99! A few small parties, the coalmines and some private parties, but finally all started at The Zoo Hasselt! Owners of this club gave him several opportunities to play there and from one thing came the other! In a short time he has been spinning records in whole Belgium. Lately also international bookings are coming up.
Nowadays the parties he organises are under the name Recoded. Recoded has two separate styles organised in two different parties/area's, which are Acid Area and Techno Area.
